TeleAdapt proudly announces that its highly anticipated MediaHub(TM) began shipping last month to hotels around the world. Orders for the new MediaHub have significantly outpaced initial forecasts. Therefore, TeleAdapt has quickly responded with increased production of units to meet the incredible demand expressed from hotel chains worldwide interested in further differentiating their in-room guest experience.
The MediaHub is the result of cooperative research and development efforts with technology leaders in the electronics and hospitality industries. This comprehensive connectivity panel was designed specifically for hotels in their effort to meet the entertainment demands of today's savvy travelers. Now, hotels worldwide can install the MediaHub and make it possible for their guests to seamlessly connect their laptop, iPod(R), MP3 player, iPhone(R), digital camera, camcorder, PDA, DVD Player and/or game console to a hotel TV. The result is a richer, more convenient visual and audio experience as their music can be played through speaker systems, pictures and work documents projected on a large screen and games played on as large of a screen as the one at home.
The MediaHub is offered in two versions: an active unit that automatically senses the guest plugging in a device such as an iPod, and changes the TV to that input, and a Passive unit which relocates the TV's auxiliary ports and allows guests to select the inputs by tuning to the designated TV channel. Both are available in a variety of trims and either a desktop or wall-mounted version.
A primary reason for the MediaHub's popularity with hoteliers is that it is compatible with a broad range of TV manufacturers and Video On Demand system providers. Additionally, it is the smallest, most stylish, and easiest to use solution of its kind available today. The MediaHub features the most commonly used industry standard connection ports such as HDMI and USB and offers hotel guests a simple plug-n-play experience.
