Cvent Supplier Network Accomplishes Hockey-Stick Growth in 2009 by Sending 100,000 RFPs to Meeting Venues in Q4 2009 |
Cvent, the leading provider of web-based software for the $350 billion meetings and events industry, has announced unprecedented growth of its Cvent Supplier Network in 2009. The Cvent Supplier Network allows meeting and event planners to search for venues across the globe, send electronic Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and compare bids from suppliers to better manage their entire site selection process. Launched in late 2008, the Cvent Supplier Network experienced tremendous success throughout its first year, with over 160,000 RFPs distributed to meeting venues in 2009. In the fourth quarter of 2009 alone, Cvent meeting planners sent almost 100,000 gross RFPs through the system, which is a 1000% increase over Q4 2008.
